On September 24 during his working visit to Moscow, Julius Meinl, President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, visited the EAJC Moscow office. The Head of the Congress discussed current directions of EAJC activity with EAJC Secretary General Mikhail Chlenov.

Julius Meinl also met with Vladimir Shternfeld, President of the Federal Jewish National and Cultural Autonomy, member of the EAJC General Council. FJNCA, which is a part of the EAJC, unites more than fifty regional Jewish autonomies throughout Russia. The parties discussed topical issues and prospects of cooperation between the two organizations. The meeting was attended by Michael Chlenov and Peter Weinzierl, Advisor to the EAJC President.
